From Home to Adventure: Why We Packed Up Everything 📦 🌎

About six months ago, we made a decision that changed everything.
We packed up our home, our life, our memories – and set off into the unknown.

Not for a vacation.
Not for a few weeks.
But for a whole new chapter.

Our goal was simple – and yet huge:

We wanted to leave our comfort zone.
We wanted to take WILI WILI TREE out into the world.
And we wanted to give our family an adventure we'd never forget.

It wasn’t easy to leave behind the familiar routines.

The cozy walls where our girls took their first steps and painted their first pictures.
The river where we swam every summer.
The friends who had become family.

But deep down, this dream had been growing inside us for a long time. And we knew:

If not now – when?

So we packed it all – carefully, nervously, excitedly.

A few bags and suitcases.
Our family.
And a dream.

➔ From Bern, Switzerland, to Indonesia and all the way to Australia.
➔ From strict schedules to roadmaps scribbled on napkins – if at all ;)
➔ From solid ground to wide-open skies. And yes, sometimes a little chaos.

Today, we live lighter.

Sometimes hectic. Sometimes slower.

We own less – and experience more.

Do we miss home?
Of course.
But then we remember all those moments when we dreamed of exactly this life. And now it's here.

Sure, sometimes we wish we could just pop home – catch up with friends, take a break, simply be "home."
But then again... what is home, really?

Every day brings new places, new faces, new challenges – and new reasons to laugh (and sometimes to cry).

And through it all, WILI WILI TREE is right there with us.
Our bags carry our essentials, survive tropical downpours in Bali and Australia, conquer beach days, and embrace chaotic little adventures.

WILI WILI TREE was always for the free of living.

And now we’re living it – with one packed bag, open roads, and shared memories.
